We leave from our Bellevue Hotel with our little bus, and we reach the Salt Pan Visitor Center.
A walking tour to discover the tools and methods used by ancient salt miners to collect salt. During the walk, the guide will explain how the Romans produced and consumed salt and will provide us with information on the 2015 excavations that brought to light a Roman saltpan dating back to the 3rd century BC. This excursion is dedicated to the history and discovery of the secrets of Cervia’s sweet salt, also known as White Gold.
Experience is suitable for everyone, the terrain is flat and the walk is only about 1 km round trip.
